Hey there's nothing wrong with npc null in Syndicate! It's actually quite fun.

Better than lowsec anyways =(.

I find lowsec to be a much more target rich environment. The targets may not be as big, but there's a lot more of them, and I can always fly a smaller ship. ;)

Plus, I'm sure it is fun, since you get the fun of null without all of the bullshit that comes with sov, hence my comment. People who have never dealt with the gutterfuck that is sov warfare have no business commenting on it.

Agreed.

And yea I used to think lowsec was fun and target rich, but now with all the LP farming its a letdown after letdown.

NPC null is quite a bit more fun if you want hassle-less combat and good roams.

Besides... people like Pizza, Goons, TEST, Nulli etc come through all the time! We get BO hotdropped, cyno hotdropped, bombers bar has brought some prophecies to play in our yard once or twice...

Never a dull moment!

Oh yeah, we definitely have a lot of farmers. That's to be expected right now with the massive tier push from the squids. It's okay though, because they are quickly running out of systems to plex, which means that they are all resorting to coming to Qcats home systems. Let's just say, there's a reason that our three systems are the only stable ones that GalMil hold. We have ways of dealing with farmers...extremely painful, instalocking, multiscram ways.

In all fairness though, I am getting better fights out of the pies than the squids right now.

Well that makes a case for staying in an NPC corp.

A lesson to all alliances, if you don't know the players in RL, that is exactly what can happen.

And since this is the playbook (think BoB) you know it'll happen again, too.

Not exactly clever, considering it's just history repeating itself and folks letting it.

It would seem that you didn't really need a reason.

I've been in player corps before on different characters. Problem is finding a decent player corp. not as easy as it sounds.

I suppose it really depends on what you're looking for, and who will have you. I have found that most highsec corps have turnover rates akin to McDonald's, with MOST nullsec corps running a close second. All of the "common culture" seems to exist among a select few null alliances and the pirate corps. Hell, just look at the length of time that most active Tuskers/Heretics/PL members have been with their respective corporations.

Edit: oh, and the Russians. I am fairly certain that when they join their respective alliances, some kind of strange blood ritual takes place which prevents them from ever leaving.

Makes perfect sense to me....Lol

You must be pretty dense- "biggest" in this context means "most important", I don't know if it's the biggest part of eve, but it's a huge part of the politics of any large corp or alliance, whether you're in null, high, or low sec.

Most of eve doesn't participate because, like you, they're way too dumb and unsubtle to be an effective spy.

So this happened to a "renter block" of alliance members?

Good.

Make a deal with the devil and you get burned.

Hope all that gate camping and site grinding was worth it "just to be in nullsec".

So who's the spy again so I can open my bag and say trick or treat and get my bag filled with candy Big smile

Better run out and buy your plex now, this spy is now one of the wealthiest players and needs to create alts and will buy up ALLLL the plex available, if it was me I would, plex prices going UPSmileBig smileShockedEvil

Haha unironic space bushido

Has little to do with 'space bushido' and more to do with playing a video game for fun and not to win by any means necessary. How many big space battles are not going to happen now because of this? Lots. You sacrificed fun pew pew for isk and so you can say you win? You can't pay your mother rent for your basement room with isk, there's no need to accumulate that much.

It would be like playing chess with someone, and when they realize you are probably going to beat them they grab the chess board and fling it and all the pieces up into the air. "Hey I didn't lose that game of chess you did."

What if winning by underhanded tactics is how I have fun?

What an original and well thought out post that contributes to the topic! I've definitely not seen this kind of original content before. Tell me, where do you draw inspiration from? Where can I learn to post as well as "Ban Bindy"?

Using a weapon as a deterrent in a diplomatic situation is only viable when you have proven that you have deployed it in the past and are willing to use it in the future.
