Level 4 Standing Gain

Hey everyone

I was trying to boost this characters standing with the Caldari navy last night to reduces taxes while refining etc, however I ran about 5-6 lvl 4 missions on my main toon while in fleet with this character and I gained no standing on this toon (existing standing on this character is 0.84 with navy).

Did anything change in odyssey as this used to work fine for boosting alts standing.

Ps was sharing rewards fine.

This character is situated about 15 jumps from my mission alt (is the distance too far for standing gain?)

Thanks for reading and I look forward to the help before I end up trying to run missions in a barge :p

Unless you log out and back in, the standings you see in your character info could be outdated. Reconnecting forces an update.

Never happened to me before usually just updates.

Did you get a notice to share the rewards with fleet members while turning the mission in? If not, maybe you set it to never be asked again on a former run? If so, you can reset it in general settings I think.

Yeah I got the option and chose share with fleet, that's why I assumed it had changed or something.

Went home to check, seems Chi'Nane got it in one. Eve must just have been slow to update.

^^ just to be sure - it's not "slow to update" it never auto-updates if your sharing alt is in a different system (15 jumps in your case). You'll always have to relog to see the changes in that case.

If your alt is in the same system as the mission runner when the mission(s) get turned in, he will receive the standings boost at the same time as the runner.
