Okay i was doing some exploring in null sec... and ran into a lone saber Sad i was 2 scared 2 warp off so i just logged will (i had no agression timers) my ship still be there?

Never log off to escape PvP. If you do you should do so at a safe spot (make a bookmark while in warp). Therefore the only way they can attack you is if they scan you down. Those fancy circles that tell you if you have been agressed in the last 15 minutes, if you have agressed someone in the last minute, or if you have been shot by rats in the last 5 minutes should all run out before you log off. If they don't you will be able to be scanned down and killed.

If those timers are still going and you need to make it so they have a hard time scanning you make several safe spots and bounce between them. You are safe while in warp. The more you are in warp the safer you are.

But good for you begin out in nullsec. Nullsec is where Eve doesn't suck as much as the other places. It frees you to do what you wish to whomever you wish. You won't find that in many other places in New Eden. More pilots should have balls like you.

That wasn't really brave, for a Brave Newbie.

Logging out to escape a PvP situation is pretty lame. It may have saved you this time, but it's still not really playing the game.

Better prepare for encounters like this. Warp core stabalizers help against regular tacklers. In case of a bubble, you could have burned back to the gate (or out of the bubble) with an MWD. If he agressed you (put up a bubble), he cannot follow you through the gate for some seconds.

Also remember that you have 30 seconds gate cloak, during which you can asses the situation and watch what your opponent does.

If he didn't pop his bubble then your ship just did the emergency warp out somewhere in the middle of nowhere before disconnecting.

If he did pull his bubble and your ship was already in warp you got the aggression timer and thus your ship will remain in space for 15minutes; can be probed down and killed.

You will most likely be dead. Even if you logged off he can catch you in the emergency warp.

Log back into the character select screen and find out... it tells you what ship you're in.
