When I take 2Bn ISK worth of salvage and tags to jita, it really annoys me to have to sell each stack separately. I'd like to be able to select everything, right click and 'Sell All', with the client automatically selling to the highest bidders.

And then you cry because the highest bid for some really expensive stuff was 1.99 ISK and you demand your ISK back and insult CCP for implementing such a ****** button.

My Condor costs less than that module!

No. You use it with the full knowledge of what happen. It's a brilliant idea, so STFU and get behind it.

As long as there's a "By clicking Yes I acknowledge the fact that I may be selling items for significantly below market value at rates that only someone who is extremely lazy or drunk would agree to" Yes/No box that pops up before each "sell all" transaction so that players are forced to claim responsibility for any mercantile stupidity done by using it I'm all for it. :-)

No "don't show this again" checkbox either. Make them re-agree every single time.

Whats needed is a better UI, until that day consider using avg prices or outside pricing tools and make the whole stack into a contract.

Reduce price by whatever or go stupid low and make it an auction.

Perhaps they could just have a spread sheet sort of view open up listing all of your items, the price you'll get, and the totals at the end... They could put a tick box next to each item so you could unselect the ones your not happy to sell to.

Agree that the current UI would make this more troublesome than useful, It would be a nice feature to have.

I was actually thinking about something like that. That would make things far better to do.

I would totally be behind this.

Here is a potential process flow

From the Hangar select one or more items

Right click to bring up the context menu – Select “Sell All”

Dialogue 1
- Disclaimer: you are about to issue a sell all order. There will be no warnings given if you choose to sell an item below 50% market value. Do you wish to proceed?
Buttons: (next) (cancel)

Dialogue 2
Table of items to be sold. Columns to include
- Select (user selectable: check or uncheck)
- Item (non-selectable, text only)
- Quantity (user selectable: pre-filled with hangar quantity, quantity cannot exceed maximum in hangar)
- Ask Price (user selectable: pre-filled with best ask price at station)
- % above/below regional average (non-selectable, text only, color coded)
- Regional Average ISK (non-selectable, text only)
- Best Regional ISK (non-selectable, text only)
- Units in Station (non-selectable, text only)

Buttons: (next) (cancel)

Business Rules:
1) maximum number of items that can be batched cannot exceed the player’s skill level and available orders (ideally this should be flagged during the selection process above and not after the player hits next)
2) item quantity cannot exceed the maximum number of units available in the hangar

Dialogue 3
Global settings for the order. This should be All-or-None. So if someone wants to have different durations on different batches they should submit separate orders. Globals to be confirmed would be
- Duration (user selectable, dropdown)
- Broker’s Fee (non-selectable, text only)
- Sales Tax (non-selectable, text only)
- Total (non-selectable, text only)
- Use Corp Account (user selectable, check-box)
- Remember Settings (user selectable, check-box)

Buttons: (Sell) (Cancel)

Business Rules:
1) Orders are submitted in the background individually up to the maximum permissible via the players skill level.
2) If a there is a difference between the error check from Dialogue 2 and dialogue 3 then only those orders up to the players maximum are processed.
3) if there is a difference in quantity between from dialogue 2 and dialogue 3 when the individual order is submitted to the market then that entry is not processed.
4) Each item to be submitted is to be flagged as either submitted successfully or unsuccessfully

Dialogue 4
Summary of results of the submission; A simple, color coded (red/green) list to include item, quantity, and ask price.

Business Rules:
1) If an entry submitted successfully then color code green, otherwise red
2) if any entries show as unsuccessful then include a message at the top of the list indicating there was a problem with the order and the player should check the results below and resubmit.
Button: (close)

Ta da – See – simple – now CCP for forth and propagate thy pages.

I'd like some Dev feedback on the likelihood of this being implemented please.

I'm no dev but I foretell you the likelyhood being somewhere around zero and nothing.

That's right, you're not a Dev, so I'll wait for one to respond thanks.

Whilst the idea (with the caveat that you need to agree to be responsible for your own screwups each time you do it) is a good idea, your attitude is less than brilliant.

He's not a dev but he is right. Go on, hold your breathe whilst you wait. Better still, refuse to play EVE until a dev responds to your completely unoriginal suggestion.

It's common sense how it should work, but this being Eve, it wouldn't surprise me if the process was utterly ret@rded and as difficult and illogical as possible. I'll keep an open mind and hope for the best.

Lol! So on top of directly insulting people in your thread (people who've agreed with you, no less), you decide that the best way to get a dev to get involved is to insult EVE by calling it "utterly ret@rded", "difficult" and "illogical". Way to make friends and influence people Blink
