i was having a discussion with corp mates and this idea came up

If your in an alliance you can see all of its JB's on your map..

What about Making the JB lines color coded....
Green for Active and Undamaged....
Yellow For Under attack/Damaged..
Red For offline.

Same thing for Cyno Beacons... You can have them color coded in the Capital navigation window

This way everyone can just open the map and see if the JB is online before flying to it and using it.

While I've never in my life attempted to use a jump bridge, this sounds like a very good and sensible idea.

Something to this effect would be incredibly handy. By extension, having it show allied jump bridges would be nice, but would probably have a higher coding burden.

I disagree with this totally.

Again another example of players trying to fix something that is not broke. Please finish of WiS before you start trying to ~fix~ jump bridges.

I would add to this that you should be able to see any Jumpbridges you can use in the game on the map. If standing allows you to use it. It ought to be on the map.
