Hi

I was just curious if this has been suggested before

You all know we store fittings in our "Saved Fittings" thingy.

I wondered if CCP would ever consider implementing a system where you can bring up the fit you want

Select go to market

This would bring up a new window in market with a ISK total on how much the mods would cost, you could set like a jump distance for items etc.

You then click "buy all"

etc etc - This could also be implemented on blueprints for minerals/parts etc

Has this ever been suggested before?

Just wanted to know

Does that actually work? I had no idea. That's actually pretty cool.

I think the optimal solution to this request would be letting a create WTB contract from fittings screen.

Sort of like a function that does what a lot of copy pasta would do.

Making it an scc market injection tool would be highly risky and open to exploits.

As a contract it would be more a retail oriented feature.

The added benefit would be that as the fits get known the traders will use other tools to price and stock up on the things people need. The result would be something rather neat and hinting at an old ccp idea about store fronts.

The only needed addition would be to let fitting links be directly accessed and linkable in bio and in eve-gate entries.

Some more small tweaks to eve-gate would be a good idea at that point, to make it more like a limited Wordpress/CMS function. With Crest and SSO a lot could develop from players creativity.

I still have some old fittings in my market quickbar, but last I tried, I couldn't add any new fittings to it.
Is this a bug with the new expansion or is the total amount of savable fittings in the market quickbar rather limited?

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

To go with a batch buy, a batch sell would also be great for all that crap thats sorth less than a million but you have loads of it and just want rid of it. Highlight all, sell all, gives you how much isk you'll get for selling all at current buy orders, sell. Done. Even if you're not a looting mission runner you always end up with some amount of crap hanging around.

Well this problem would be easy to resolve by ccp if they added the existing avg value calculations to contracts instead of the current base value one. Also when viewing a contract as with existing mechanics value would show if the items are not in a container. This way we would not need to get some new fancy UI for the functionality, even though that would be nice to have ofc.

The traders would be able to actually use contracts and the bidding on auctions would become a much more interesting addition to trade.
