Dear EVE wiki editors,

I have some advice: If you've ever done any edits on the EVE wiki, and you use your EVE account username in other places, you might want to change that. (In those other places, as you can't change your EVE account username)

Why? Well, I don't feel entirely comfortable explaining, as I prefer to have CCP explain what the issue was. For one, they propably have a better idea what was going on than I do now, and two, I don't like to paint CCP in a bad light.
But seeing as they said it was fine if I discussed this issue now, I will, because if there's any possible risk for you people, I want you to know about it.

So here's why:
In the version of the EVE wiki that was taken down recently, I noticed that old edits made under my character's Evelopedia username in the past now were attributed to a username very similar to my EVE account username. And as far as I could tell, this information was public, without a need to log into the wiki to see it.

Fly safe,
