I have a friend who plays on a mac and wants to get back into the game. He's been trying the installer, but gets to about 3-4gb and then his internet dies and everything goes to pot. There doesn't seem to be a link to a offline installer for the mac like there is for windows. Does such a thing exist?

A simple search gives this. The first hit takes you to our download page, which contains a link to the Mac .dmg.
