Hi,

I noticed there is an offer for friend invites and that I could get a plex for the invite. I am thinking of creating a second account. I thought that I will send the invite to the same email address that my main account uses and create a new account with that one, pay 3 months and get a plex. Would this be possible? Is it legal in accordance to game regulation?

There are some conflicting reports on whether it's possible to have two accounts on the same email address, but AFAIK it is possible. Everything else is definitely possible and legal according to game regulations.

I want to say it's possible. Yet to be sure there's likely little harm in trying to petition Accounts & Billing to get an absolute confirmation.

BTW, it's definitely possible with aliased email addresses.

E.g. if you use GMail and your email is "my.name@gmail.com" than "m.yna.me+second.eve.account@gmail.com" will also arrive in your inbox. (GMail ignores dots and everything after a plus in email addresses.) That's how I've set up my alt.
Other email services might have their own way of creating aliases.

Yeah, no problem. I've got four accounts on the same email address.

same here, multiple accounts all with same email. I've also sent myself buddy invites and paid them with my credit card and got the plex.

CCP doesn't give a flying duck about people using buddy invites to invite themself.

They do get a bit cranky if you use it to abuse the system and recycle new buddies every month.

Except for that they are more than happy to accept your new account ;)

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

I have several accounts linked through Buddy Invites, all of them on the same e-mail address, it is perfectly legal. Go for it, multiple accounts are awesome :)
