Any actual information regarding T3 balancing?

There's a threadnaught floating around about how either Legion or Loki are getting nerfed but there's no link to a source.

Is this just wild conjecture?

I've looked in F&I etc, but have found nothing.


I understand that they are going to to T2 first, and there's nothing on that either...thus why I'm asking.

Somebody said T3 nerf and Legion pilots showed up looking depressed and had to be talked off of ledges.

I love GD. Threadnaughts can be started because of wild speculation.

I cant wait for the Titan rebalance. 2 titans needed to bridge and capital cyno mods! Oh man!

Also the mauraders are being made into BS sized logistics!

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

It should be locked for speculation, or lack of content, or rumour mongering, or something.

Why? Someone will simply start another one. Best to keep the existing thread and, if CCP has something to add, it will be easy to find.

It's like some sort of "pre discussion", everyone throws his hate incomprehension hard feelings or love about the subject and this is also good for CCP to actually get a first idea of general feelings, compare them with their data and go faster through process before presenting changes they think are good to final discussion.

This thread you guys are talking about it's just a little thread, search for hybrids and Gallente threads you'll see what it looks like a real threadnaught.

What's the point, really? Talk about it now, talk about it later, T3's will still get looked at when CCP get's around to it. It's not like speculating now rather than later would alter when/what changes come about, all it would do is add to GD's already bloated list of useless conjecture and wild acussations that "OMG, Eve is gonna DIE when this hits TQ".

...On the other hand, seeing people run around like recently decapitated chickens has always been funny to watch Roll

It's conjecture, but not really wild one. CCP has communicated for a long time about the rebalancing project and what it aims at. There have also been several dev posts and coments here and there, that allow us to quite reasonably assess which direction CCP will change specific ships groups and how radical the changes will likely be. All that gives us a pretty good idea where T3s are meant to fit in the big picture and therefore see, that the current T3s have to be changed and in several specialization areas it'll have to be a downgrade. The thing we don't know is the specifics how those planned goals will be implemented, so we speculate on it until we get the details. Locking the existing thread will just mean another one will pop up, since people have to express their thoughts about it somewhere and for once GD is the correct place to post about it.

Yeap, and there are some pretty evil Proteus setups as well. But of course, since Tengu is the best of the four in most any PvE situation (obvious exception, webber Loki in cap escalated WH sites), all we ever hear is "zomfg nerfzetengu!!!!11!1!!"

These same derps are generally the ones that don't realize that most of what they are seeing is a byproduct of the weapons/tanking systems themselves (lolmediumrails and all of that) and not the ships.
