Why is there no answer to CCP ExeFile crashes after months and months?

I have read the forums until my eyes cross and no answer to the CCP ExeFile has stopped working crash to desktop problem? I don't use Mumble, I run as administrator, I've reinstalled the client, all drivers are up to date, in fact computers are in perfect health. I have Googled the problem and STILL no one can say what exactly the problem is? The computer I am on right now is fine, but the one right next to me won't get past the character selection to enter the game in the last 3 attempts. I am running the client in the 'performance' mode to reduce graphics load. Still, both computers will get the error, one more frequently than the other. Playing EvE MUST BE reliable otherwise, what good are you in a fight? Publish the fix so everybody can find the damn thing please!

what is the error? Check event viewer to get the real cause of the crash

CCP says it can be several things. Am running logs and forwarding to them. Naturally, now that I am logging, it took 5 hours for the first CCP ExeFile stopped working ctd. Too funny.

I solved this issue on my computer.

installed the non-steam eve client on my system drive.

I don't know if it works on another drive, didn't check.
