[Event] Tea and Tradition

This weekend, I will be hosting a celebration in honor of my kirjuun's, Katrina Oniseki, second year of service with I-RED and in accordance to the Ark-Taki, or the Twin Flame. For those who are unaware, the Twin Flame event is a decennial phenomena for the dwellers of Abagawa IV, in which both the moons are in the full moon stage for approximately two months. Tradition dictates that homeowners leave their windows and doors open and host celebrations on the first night in order to experience success and prosperity for the next decade.

Thus, I am opening my private residence to the capsuleers of the cluster in accordance to these traditions. Invitations have already been sent. If you feel you were left out on the invitation list due to error (and believe me, I do make errors at times), please feel free to contact me privately or on this thread.

Specific event details will be withheld from the general public until later notice.

Celebration Highlights:
- festivities began an hour early, at 20:00 instead of the original 21:00
- traditional Raata music provided throughout the event by the honorable Mister and Miss Saikaru
- special performance provided by Miss Morwen Lagann and Miss Arista Shahni at approximately 22:00
- special homemade starcake served as dessert after the performance
- intricate fireworks show to conclude the night's festivities
- Tropical Quafe!™ provided thanks to Miss Laura Cherbourg

I look forward to celebrating these festivities in your company!

Two years with a single employer seems to be a remarkable feat of attention-span, let alone loyalty, for the average terrible space person.

So congratulations! May your work continue to be fulfilling or at least tolerable, punctuated by only the occasional stab in the back.

I never could get them to grow again. Most of them died overnight. What did you do to them anyways?

I couldn't say, with absolute certainty. To recreate the experiment you'd have to track down a number of highly obscure narcotics, one very common one, a bottle of 800-year-old Amarr cognac, and cigars rolled from the leaves of a plant long-extinct due to its native world being bombed from orbit. Then you'd have to filter them all through a middle aged Caldari, and, well... what can I say, the old valves aren't sealing up as tightly as they used to!

Tell you what - I have just the thing to replace your plants. It's been sitting in my collection for a while, and I'm growing tired of having to constantly tend to it, high maintenance little bugger... it's a plant, of sorts, that I received as payment from a xenobotanist working in Angel Cartel space, who owed me a favor. He said it was priceless and was going to write a scientific paper on it, and become a famous xenobotanist rather than an obscure one, but I suggested that unpaid debts have a funny way of getting your legs eaten by Slaverhounds, and now I'm stuck with it. Anyway, it's a screaming plant. It doesn't stop screaming, ever, unless it's chewing. A great addition to any garden!

Oh yeah, it's also ferociously carnivorous. Probably should've mentioned that at the beginning. I hope you're not too attached to the birds in your garden. Maybe switch to holobirds.

While I appreciate the generosity and kindness in extending an invitation to a Caldari prosperity festival to a Federal loyalist, I must apologise that I am currently unsure as to whether or not I will be able to attend the celebrations. I may or may not have business over the weekend that will occupy my time sufficiently to render it impossible to attend the festivities, but unfortunately I won't know for sure until the weekend.
