Ill keep this one as short as I can but I feel it belongs here as it kept me amused last night. So about 3 days ago we decided to war Dec a corp called Cerberus fabrication Inc., not a large corp but reasonably active and willing to undock. We had someone inside the corp already so we had enough Intel on them. War Dec goes live and we grab a few kills, a space potato on a gate (We embarrasingly derped a nomen on that) as well as a pod, an ibis that the ceo decided to eject from the usual crap.

Two nights ago they get assistance from a corp called the Nintendo generation. These guys tend to fly around in bling fit tech 3 ships with cloaks, we found a loss mail of a 2 bill Loki with different sized guns, a Loki almost caught one of our guys in a vigilant but despite being dual web fit still missed the kill. This didn't stop him smug chatting for a long time about how expensive his ships are compared to ours as if that was a mark of quality even going as far as to say his mods were worth more than the ships. So they got my interest, they are all quite old players so I knew we had to be careful as they could probably take us in fights, that meant docking up from time to time and expecting some losses but that how eve works right, we got prepared to have a proper fight. Logged in the next day to find that Cerberus has joined an alliance invalidating the war with the Nintendo guys. Bit of a shame as no chance of proper fights but meh we moved on. Then I got Intel the CEO of Cerberus was undocking in a brutix and heading our way along with a mining barge (I have no idea what he was up to) , we caught and killed him at which point he convos me asking us to wait so he can test a pvp fit he has.

Now we have eyes all over the area as well as in corp so we watch him fly to jita, fit up a Hyperion and make his way back. Then I notice that we have Nintendo guys in system with us, presumably in their cloaked t3s, a very smug Cerberus guy keeps the convo going as he is fitting his ship and obviously we can smell a tarp. Hyperion eventually jumps in to us with saying "you don’t mind losing ships do you" smugly until he starts to realise his friends cant help, they just uncloak and watch him die. I was almost in tears as the convo from the Nintendo guys flashes up.

He starts smugging about the value of ships again, how we will run away from fights, after he tells me "he knows much more about the game than me" I ask I'm he is paying the guy back from the Hyperion loss and if he understands how the war Dec system works, he tells me it’s a secret between clients and after a brief threat closes the convo and logs in shame. So tonight I guess we will find out if we get whelped by t3s or not as they have re-joined the war but I wanted to share that wonderful story of failed smugness and to let anyone who wants to kill a 2 bill Loki with different sized guns fit know that they apparently have at least 4 of those ships each ready to go at anytime and they "never ever back down from fights".

So TL:DR - cool story bro. Ill post if they curb stomp us or not but hopefully either way we will get some good fights over the next week at least.
