I take the opposite opinion. I think the blogger is the bigger idiot for being such a sociopath, and being proud of it. He even admits to taking advantage of them specifically because they are a "carebear corp". That is an aweful lot like picking on an introvert because you know he wont fight back. How sophisticated.

There we go throwing around words like sociopath. This is EVE. In EVE, if you are not prepared to defend yourself, you are food. If you remain unaware of this after playing the game for a while, you are ludicrously lucky, or hilariously unperceptive.

As to the topic.

Your blog's layout makes me cringe. You seriously need to find a webmaster. That whole "flash page newspaper style" thing, is quite dated. Particularly when you do not update your content very often. Your front page has events from April in it.

Are you talking about the OP or them miners? Since, after all, the “social norms with respect to lawful behaviour” when playing a PvP-centric game includes blowing stuff up at the highest pace possible (which rather throws the “aggressiveness” part of 4 out of the window, but leaves 4 as a possible point for response to when one's ship gets blow up… a point that is often observed in the frothing rants that newly-ganked carebears occasionally engage in).

Fair enough. That said, I read your blog a month ago, and took a look at it the other day and found myself having finished with it within minutes, with nothing else to read. Do not mistake me, I enjoy a safari read as much as the next guy, but I yearn for more content. Frequent updates are what keep me coming back to TMC.

Back in my old corp, if you werent prepared to defend yourself, you were called a Shiv. As an explanation i will tell you, Shiv was a wormhole player who enjoyed mining, he was a brit who played in the US timezone, he more often than once fell asleep in a grav and woke up in a pod surrounded by allied and enemy T3 wrecks as people tried to save him.

i honestly have no clue why i even told that story.
