EVE client not starting, screen flickers a few times then steals the mouse until I kill the process

The screen flashes a few times, then the mouse is "stolen" (I can't click on other things and the mouse is invisible). I can open and alt-tab to task manager to kill the process.

I've run the repair tool several times, I've deleted common.ini so the launcher re-patches, they both do the same thing every time (i.e. they seem to download the same patches etc.).

The repair tool often froze during downloading (stage 6/7), although I put this down to the fact that my internet is painfully slow right now (yay for Australian internet (*kill me now*)).

The repair tool, on "successful" runs (relatively speaking), has provided the logs quoted at the end of my post.

I'm seriously at a loss here. What the hell do I do now?

So today I cleared caches, rebooted several times, ran the repair tool a lot and switched GPU a couple of times.

It started working and I have no idea why. I switched back to my main GPU and it now plays fine... again.

I hope this can somehow help someone else with the same issue...
