Question about jumpclones

So I'm about to get myself a jumpclone. I'm under the effect of a cerebral accelerator though, and the sources I found said that it gets destroyed when I jump into another clone.
Is that correct? If that's the case, can I create jumpclones and just leave them there until the accelerator has worn off?

It might only be destroyed if jumping into a clone that is at the same station that you are currently at.

Otherwise it'll simply get left behind in the other clone you jumped out from.

And yes you can create jump clones without having to actually use them. I suggest letting the accelerator run it's course because afaik its timer is linked to the account age, not the character age, so time is of the essence!

Not exactly right. Clones will also be destroyed if you jump out of a station where you already have a clone. You get a warning message about that. Also be careful when suiciding youself from place a to place b. I still miss my +4s and mining mindlink on my indy character.

I'd also suggest just creating them and wait for the accelerator to wear off.

The replies above seem to be about implants, but given that the accelerator isn't really an implant, but a "booster" I am not certain whether or not the same rules apply.

My suggestion would be to wait until you have 1 hour left, then jump and come back to tell us what happened ;)

I don't know for sure, not being able to use one but

http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Cerebral_Accelerator

scroll to the bottom, says it will be destroyed on jump cloning.

Thta doesn't stop you from buying jump clones and leaving them scattered over the universe though as it is only the act of jump cloning that is supposed to destroy the accelerator.

Hi there,

Jump cloning will destroy the Cerebral Accelerator, yes. Although technically listed as an implant in some places, it actually functions closer to a booster (the effects of which are lost during jump cloning too).

In this case, you can feel free to petition us regarding this (information on contacting us is here) and we will be happy to replace the accelerator for you, or alternatively, grant the equivalent skill points lost during that time.

Aren't you in a good mood today? I lost some SP a couple of years ago because I forgot to press the apply button when putting in new skills to train. It happened while I was training learning skills that you removed indicating you considered them a mistake on CCP's part. Since learning skills turned out this way, maybe a retroactive adding of skill points lost in error while training them is in order :P. It did proof to be a very confusing system for then new players. A month worth of SP would put me right on track again.
