Change for the sake of change is just unproductive and said change is just that.

Except, of course, that it's not.

Why not group all buttons that interact with the station and the items/services in it together?

You are going to have to explain why you think logical order is unproductive. Otherwise we must assume that you simply don't like change at all and can summarily dismiss this thread as valid in any way.

Btw that post got 2 likes from CCP devs so I'd take that as why they did it...

Station services to me means you need to open up a window to do something else within that window to achieve your goal, the undock button is just that it's a button that requires no further interaction other than pressing it so there's no need to include it in station services. Where it was before was quite adequate as well as being more of a logical place to put it, imo of course.

It's not a big deal. but they do some really dumb things.

DFM Joe - Hey Dave lets move the button, that'll be cool!
DFM Dave - Wow Joe that's new content.
DFM Mike - Awesome guys! Now we need to come up with some cool name for this expansion.
DFM Dave - Let's cool it Butopia.
DFM Mike - Good job guys!

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

Right-click ship, select undock.

Admittedy its now 2 clicks instead of one but I found it much easier to remember than 'other side of the screen and now at the top' when looking for the undock

Maybe because I'm left handed but I hate the new postion.....

I have deliberately developed an air of cynicism that I originally intended to make me appear somewhat louche and caddish but actually comes across as irritable hostility combined with the unspoken threat of sudden violence.....

They'll ignore it. At the moment they are too busy trying to justify their dislike for logical change any way they can. Smile

Stations services (and your hangers) are things you interact with in a station, just like undocking is an interaction with the station.
