Today i tried to login, the launcher would sign me in. Then it would be in offline mode, so i tired to run the repair tool.

I got this message: "See the log file 'C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\nsbe312.tmp\repair.exe.log' for details".

I have put the log in pastebin located here: http://pastebin.com/GUgr28xU

Anyone else having this issue?

In regards to my computer, no changes have been made since yesterday, when eve worked, nor do i run proxies. I don't have spybot proxy on nor do i have netnanny on my PC.

Edit: i downloaded the latest version of repair.exe and replaced my old one. I still get the same issue.

Also i have tried to open eve using exefile.exe. It downloads the patch, but when the installer runs i get the same error as i did with the repair.exe file.

However it points me to a different log, which contains this message: http://pastebin.com/a8XDv8Tz

Both have a socket problem in common. I have never had issues with eve in terms of socket errors and it seems like an error that occurs usually when the server is down for maintenance.

I too am also having this exact same error. I had it yesterday as well and only fixed it by reinstalling eve completly (some fix huh). i would love to not have to do that again everytime there is a patch. anyone have a fix?

Fortunately i managed to fix it without reinstalling. I download the new patch manually and pointed the installer to it. Fixed it somehow.
