This would be an excellent publicity stunt for CCP.

I love this idea

Me too! How about having a harem of "companions".

You could talk about life with them, maybe even have therapy sessions for those having trouble in their new-found relationships. (Companions seem to not be very talkative. It leads to lack of intimacy.)

On a related note, I think people should be able to love whoever they love for any reason. Just because some inconsiderate pilots start calling you names like, "necrophiliac" "corpse-humper", etc. doesn't mean they are right. They don't understand our love! Just because she's never moved, or breathed, or said anything, or even said, "no" doesn't make her a corpse. She's real to me!

*sniff*

Some pilots are a bunch of meanie heads.

Also in related news, if you come across anyone from the Marmite Collective, be sure and make some "companions". They will keep you company on those lonely nights.

I personally enjoy the quiet times I get to spend with her.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.

Just to give some a perspective on corpse collections in game, Ubercado, a Vice Admiral for Eve University has probably the most impressive I have heard in game. When the Uni moved from Korsiki to Aldrat approximately 4 years ago, it took several freighters to just move his collection of corpses.

Not sure whether he would want to dress them all or not though.

In space, no one can hear you scream.

Add to that: whimper, beg for more, shout "Yes Master"!, fart like a trumpet, moan in ecstasy, and several other things which may be heard after reading this thread....

Trophy room for mah corpses.

Or recycle option for biomass.

Either one would be useful and unique.

I have been collecting corpses because they are plentiful, free, and may someday be of value. I hope to see that day.

Also, +1 to OP for getting so much dev/GM/CSM attention in one thread. Well done.

This thread brings to mind things that I think would actually make an aesthetically pleasing picture. I'm sure a lot of us enjoy customization - you know, adding things that would make our ships, and hell, even our space more 'unique'. Put space mantlepieces up on the NEX store where you could display an opponents frozen corpse, anchor it 70k off the gate, so when an enemy fleet comes into system they can be traumatized at the sight of fellow copilots corpses strewn about.

Even take it further to ship customization! Right-click corpse, "add to ship" and have it impaled on one of the spikes on the Phantasm! Or hell, add a winch to your utility high on your hurricane and 'load it' with corpses, fly your hurricane around dragging your victims in tow! (And upon warp, tow line pulls them in so they aren't singed!)

I, for one, would probably invest in the nex store if they had a 'space-gallows' that I Could anchor outside of my home station and show off my collection of corpses.

This thread has since made me start scooping bodies.

Just think of how nasty a pirate fleet would be warping around with corpses splattered across their ship. And hell, they're disposable, then you can use corpses as a trading commodity for people wanting a brutal look of one of their ships.

Dunno. I want it, anyone else?

I had a cat named Chloe once.

I am suddenly quite concerned over her well-being, and she's been dead for several years.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

This is because the universal truth is: we all want a deeper relationship with the people we've liberated from those horrible pods. It's only natural.

During a recent roam, my corpies and I happened upon an unlucky group that happened to fall inside our heavy interdictor's influence. After a brief, but spirited interchange, which included the podding of one of the unfortunate combatants, I was surprised to find a flash-frozen female persona amongst the wreckage.

As I have been alone in space, with a predominately male set of colleagues, I immediately pulled her onboard.

I have named her Chloe, and she has accompanied me on all my trips since. We've ratted, gate camped, and sold things in Jita together. It's become an extremely endearing relationship. While she isn't the most talkative sort, and "relations" between us are somewhat cold and one-sided, I have grown fond of her endless curiosity; When I place her on the bridge in a chair, looking out onto space, she will sit, unmoving, not blinking nor breathing, for hours, with the same look on her face, until I have one of the crewmembers put her back in the captains' quarters.

My question is this: Recently, I decided that Chloe needed some new garments. I went ahead and purchased the clothes: (Red Women's Impress Skirt, Olive Women's Sterling Dress Blouse, and Women's Minima Heels...(never forget the shoes, gentleman!). When I went to put them on her, I realized that there is no function to allow me to do so. Is that coming up in a future release?

Also, do you have plans to make the same clothes that the exotic dancers wear available for purchase? I want Chloe to feel and look sexy.

So ya, we need to be able to decorate with corpses. Dressing them up would help this so I support this request.

Why won't this thread just die already! (although, now that I think about it, that might make things worse... *Shudders*)

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Sometimes when I post, I look at my sig and wish that I'd follow my own god damned advice.

Although most of the capsuleers I podkill end up as biomass, I keep a couple of really special corpses in Dodixie 9-20.

Updating buy and sell orders can get a bit lonely at times, and it is good to have company when doing it.

I'm particularly fond of the corpse that I found in a 5pc Crystal implant set, sitting on the lowsec side of a high-low gate, AFK in a well-fitted Slepnir. They get the embarrassing lossmail (2b ISK lost to a solo Vexor), I get a new... playmate.
