There is ONE major reason why I don't use the launcher, aside the fact that it doesn't remember usernames.

I manage some kinda crowded family of accounts and most of the times I log 4-5 of them in, but not always they are all undocked doing stuff. If I had to use the launcher, I'd have one single icon in the toolbar at the bottom of mu desktop. A sort of pop up window will appear hovering the mouse on that single icon with all the instances of the game I launched in the order I launched them, and then I can click on the one I want to put on the foreground, if I understand which one is the one I'm looking for (imagine 1 active toon and 7 docked and you'll see that the 7 docked could have pretty similar look side by side)

With the ExeFile instead I have one single icon in the toolbar for each instance of the clinet I launched, meaning I can move them left and right and see immediately which one I need to click on to make it active. Add to that the fact I have customized icons for each of my toons, and you'll see even better why the one-single-fixed-icon I get from the launcher really looks like a downgrade to me.

Typically, because the launcher takes about 3 times longer to launch the game than EVE does, and you some of us have to respond to pings pretty quickly; Using the launcher, Miss the fleet; Use ExeFile.exe, Make the fleet.

This is a pretty common scenario for most of the people I fly with, and is complained about universally by everyone.
