The Nothing Book

A few people have found and tried to train the Nothing Book.

Attempts have been made to track the path / location of the Nothing Book. But for some reason concord is unable to retrieve telemetry related to the Nothing book.

Every now and then a pilot will find a nameless skillbook, It might be tucked away in a guristas hideaway, floating in space, or randomly delivered to their hangar. Wherever they may me.

The Nothing Book intrigues them. They find no description, no spatial data map, Nothing.

They will then inject the book.

At this point they are compelled to begin training the first level.

the moment they begin training, their minds go blank. time slows. They are unable to think. All that's left of them is a tiny dim sliver of awareness all they know is that they are unable to think, speak. And with that awareness, A sense of horror.

Trapped, until it finishes training.

The moment its done training they snap back to reality. Horrified and confused at what just happened. Yet they feel compelled to train it again, To see if there is anything else.

The thing about the Nothing book is that its training time stacks up faster than any other skill.

Level 1 Lasts 5 minutes

Level 2 Lasts 5 hours

Level 3 Lasts 5 years

Level 4 Lasts 5,000 years

Level 5 Lasts 500,000 Years

At the end of every level, they are even further compelled to keep training.

Nobody has made it past Level 4

The sample I spliced and then cloned has already started to grow.


The supply of human blood Im feeding it on seems to be a good source of nutrition for it
