Double clicking on an object does not align anymore

It used to be that double-clicking on a celestial or a ship or something would align/approach to it, same as double-clicking in any spot in space would make you head in that direction. This is no longer the case, and it is terrible for finding a celestial to align to when bailing out of a combat situation.

Is this an intentional change, or is it a bug?
