I just can't login...
Keeps saying that the cluster is not accepting connections...

Not sure what to do now. :(

You shouldn't need to copy anything, just run the shortcut out of your regular TQ client's folder. Past that I'd need logserver details or something, feel free to continue via evemail if you want~



sorted now thanks. Not sure why a new full uptodate downloaded client would not have worked but there ya go lol

Same... not accepting connections.

Oh, BTW:
I copy/pasted the TQ cache folder into the Duality cache folder.
(my screen kept flickering for a few secs and the client wouldn't show up, that's why I copy/pasted the cache folder)

Should I try to reset/clear cache from in-game?

You don't need to make a separate installation of the EVE client.

Enter /Users/your mac username/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE
Make a copy of the folder called c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility and name it c_program_files_ccp_eve_duality


For me the login screen shows Duality as not accepting connections, but if you try to log in it works anyway.

We are having trouble getting an office in our station, the offices have been purged but because it is a Sov station it seems like our directors are unable to buy an office.

Are we doing something horribly wrong or is there a way around this?


Also: The search feature on contracts appears to be broken, would it be possible to fix this? We've just posted all our fit ships to corp contracts but it's becoming a pain to go through them all to find what you're looking for :P

A very quick two things...

1) Any ETA on when the out-of-alliance player list might be input for CAStabouts? I have a feeling we're one of the teams with a longish list. It would help us troubleshoot any issues people were experiencing connecting to duality if we had confirmation they were allowed to be on there in the first place. Blink

2) A bit of feedback: In the future, it'd sure be nice to have the center beacon distinguished from the rest somehow. A different icon, different color...ideally even a separate overview setting. Any tips, from CCP or other players, for making it stand out both in space and on the overview?

Hi Everyone,

Just want to update, incase no one else has found it. I have found a solution for MAC users wishing to connect to duality.

First, refer to this forum thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=23775

^ that thread has all the instructions you need.

However i could not find the "PrefsFolderName" value in the 'info.plist' file. I tried adding it in, but had no effect.

So when you navigate to 'application support' your folder name might still be called "Eve Online" Following the rest of the instructions in there should work, however i suggest making a backup of the 'config' file before you make any changes :)

EDIT: didnt see the post above, when i originally tried the "--args" line it didnt work, but i may not have had complete instructions, either way you should be able to get onto duality with a set of instructions now :)

Drop a can or something next to the beacon and use that instead.

Yo duders!

A lot of my WHYSO guys are getting "need to establish internet connection" on the login screen for Duality.

Clearly we are not part of the club! lol
