Haven't DC:d even once for months, and even then it was my ISP and not eve server

Ive dc'd 3 times in the last hour, and lots of my alliance mates are having dc problems too, as well as horrible server lag. Time to reboot the server, IMO.

I suggest you activate PLEX-for-Connection on your main account. It will give you 30 days of no disconnects.

No DC's in almost 2 months.(ignoring the DDoS),


Get better Netwok Equipment, or a better ISP.

has 20 meg fios (FTH) and wive doesn't get DCed so its NOT my connection or isp (points at CCP)

Can, often won't, as it's not in their best interests to admit there's a problem with their stuff. Or the routing from their network over to where the CCP servers are hosted.

21 years on the Internet tells me otherwise with US providers, even the ones with terrible technicians who don't know a NIC from a toaster. Get a better ISP. P

I am fairly sure the problem with the server is a faulty ram stick, they need to replace the memory, and also look into any overheating or other issues which could be interfering, for instance if they have a roach infestation, or spiders rolling around inside the servers.

I have gone many days without a DC, so many variables involved its hard to say in your case

I spend entire weekends on Eve without getting d/c'd (aside from downtime). This past one for instance.

I did have some time where I was getting disconnected constantly. Turned out to be my router. I replaced it and haven't had an issue since.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

you can say that, but when you lose 1/3 of the corp at the same time, something is wrong besides personal ISP or Network gear.

Yeah, that would mean it was a connection somewhere between your ISP and CCP, which doesn't mean either one of them could do a thing about it.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
