Wormhole tips and tricks

This thread is assuming that you know the basics--the classes of Wormholes, scanning wormholes, how statics open/close, how to scan in the new easy-mode scanning.....and that you want to live in a Wspace (whether Orca roaming, solo w/probes/cloak/salvage drone roaming, or setting up a POS and all that that entails), and know the basics of such. Day trippers, this may not be for you.

Basically this is a collection of (hopefully mostly) helpful advice for the newer or possibly even established Wspace dweller

* Always try to have at least a month's worth of fuel on hand.
**If you live in a Wspace that has a Wspace static, get 2-3 month's fuel on hand at all times
*STRONTIUM. get it, use it, love it.
*Iteron V--I don't care how much you like your Badger II--there's literally no excuse for not being able to fly an Itty V now--it literally takes 15-30 minutes or so for any non-trial account.
* When you bring ships in that you intend to use for running combat sites, fill its cargo up with ammo (if you fly Amarr, bring ammo for your friends).
* For every ship you use regularly, bring 3-4 spares, so if one is collected by Bob as a sacrifice, you don't have to wait until the logistics guy brings in a new ship for you.
* If you're a bomber and you see people running combat anoms, wait until they bring out the Noctis before you do your bombing run. Nothing brings tears like ISK in the hold shattered by the Bob-damned bombs of a cloaky.
* For the love of Bob, don't use a Small Tower
* For the love of Bob--don't forget to online your weapons arrays
* For the love of Bob,--don't forget shield hardeners.
* Pure Dickstars (ECM only) can be defeated by (lots and lots and lots of) (Domis and) drones
* Neut Arrays can be nasty
* Damp Arrays can be annoying
* The effectiveness of Missile Arrays is debatable
* But you just can't (metaphorically) beat turret weapon arrays
* You will be tested by Bob, and are expected to sacrifice several ships per month to him in Wspace. Other Wspacers may collect your sacrifice and the killmail that goes along with it.
* Bob smiles favorably upon those who collect his sacrifices
* Keep fuel dumps of 1-4 weeks at strategic places in K-space (say, trade hubs?)
* D Scan is the greatest gift Bob has ever bestowed upon the Wspacers.
* If you're going to keep your System Scanner open to watch for incoming Wormholes, be sure to have the option turned on in your scanner (Top option)
* If you're going to fly giant, Huttish pinatas outside of your forcefield (say, barges or exhumers), it's a hell of a good idea to make sure you've closed your statics and don't have incoming K162s.
* If you see your neighbors flying giant, Huttish pinatas outside of their forcefield, strike quickly, or a(nother) roaming (cloaky) gank squad may hit them before you.
*Bob demands that you bring Warp Disruptors into your hole with you, so you don't wish you had them when you see giant, Huttish pinatas jacking off their ore outside their forcefield.
*For the love of Bob, don't forget to cloak up when you're outside your forcefield. Especially when you're scanning.

There's probably more I could come up with, but it's time for me to go for now. Anyone have anything else to add?

Wow did you come up with all of those by yourself?

Nah, admit it, you had help. Nobody could have come up with such valuable tips on their own.

You can jump a freightor through a c2 to highsec if you spam 'jump' for long enough.

Theres actually a bug where if you use a hictor to focus point the freightor it shrinks its mass down and lets you jump it Blink

Just saying that you need to rethink that. Past level 3 Industrial skill, the itty will hold more (depending its fit of course)

Having said that... I have always like the bestower and have all my toons trained on it. If I did it now I would just have them all fly the Itty.

What is this anal obsession on having fuel for a month? If you find the logistics to be such a hassle, you should stay in k-space.

Generalities are fun.

It can depend highly on where you live. But even with a HS static WH, it is loads of fun to realize you have a day of fuel left when your exit is a HS island in say Aridia.

I ram large objects through my hole until it can't take it anymore and I have to go find another.

I just do that for fun though. Forgetting fuel is like forgetting ammunition.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

All praise to Bob.
Blessed be his holey K162 connections.
