I cannot download patch?

I am having problems with launching EVE launcher as of 24/6/2013.
I am not unfortunately overly skilled technically,so i 'd really appreciate help.I play on PC.My Launcher edition is: v.2.1.545736
I ran repair tool it is said it successfully repaired it,at the second attempt.The loading screen is stuck at "Installing Files"
I 've manually tried downloading the newest version,which i found at another topic here:

BUT it failed to download it and the error message mentions: "Can't write:C:/Program Files (x86)/CCP/EVE/launcher/launcher.exe

I would really appreciate some assistance here, 'cause as i said i am no expert whatsoever.Thnx in advance.

EDIT:Now it got worse.I can't even Open launcher and i get those 2 mesages:
1) LoadLibrary(pythondII)failed

2) C:/Program Files
(x86)/CCP/EVE/launcher/appdata/EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.545736.win
32/PYTHON27.DLL

HELP?

Could you please send me your logs? They should be in launcher/cache inside your EVE installation folder and it should be named something like launcher.2013.06.24.log . It is probably too large for a PM or forum post so please consider pasting it onto pastebin.com and sending me the link instead.

I would be happy to,but could you give me some instructions how to?I am computer illiterate..(sorry for troubling you)
I found a file named "Logs" alongside many other files like bin,launcher,res,script etc...Is that it?

EDIT:I THINK i may have found it.It is named exactly as you write.I send it right now.

I had the same problem. The manual download link worked for me. Make sure the launcher is not running, maybe it cant write because it is.

Yup that's the right one.

The selfupdates is failing. I'm pretty sure this has been fixed in the latest version so we only have to make sure that you get the latest version somehow. As stated in the reply above me a manual install should hopefully fix this.

So here's what you have to do:
1. Download the installer for the launcher here
2. Make sure that neither EVE not the launcher are running
3. Run the installer and install the launcher to your EVE folder
4. ????
5. Profit - hopefully the launcher will now work
