Todays patch broke my EVE

My launcher freezes when updating: http://i.imgur.com/kDQEmUW.jpg

And running from 'CCP/eve/bin/Exefile' doesn't work either: http://i.imgur.com/5o1wTrj.png

The repair tool fails aswell: http://i.imgur.com/0UQvxrA.png

Please help me fix this I've got a character with no skill in training

Can you provide me with your logs. They should be under launcher/cache called something like launcher.2013.06.24.log.
They will probably be to large to fit in one post or PM so please consider uploading them to pastebin.com or similar and just send me the link.

Looks like it's a problem with '_trinity_dx9_deploy.dll'

Want me to try and delete it manually?

You are right the launcher appears to be having trouble deleting three files: 'resLocalization.stuff', 'bin\\_trinity_dx9_deploy.dll' and 'resLocalizationFSD.stuff'. There could be a simple permissions error or a file lock that is causing this. You could try running the launcher as administrator if you haven't already. If that doesn't work then I'd try deleting those three files manually. The launcher will then redownload them if they are required and hopefully things will work.

I had a zombie eve process running, after I killed it the launcher finished patching. Got the tip from here
