HELLO to you my friends, fiends, internet forum stalkers and spaceship badies.

I'm not sure if it's been done, but I thought it fun to track some of the KILLRIGHTS blown up set alongside the crimes they've committed.

Please feel free to add your own KILLRIGHTS of justice stories, please keep trolling to a maximum and make sure you tell us all how you REALLY FEEL if you were a victim on either side of the fight.

CCP, go away please, we're trying to play a game here.

I'll start with this... (you can copy and paste the format below, if that helps you get going)

BELINK shoots KIENA ULTRA's POD

Vicitim: Kiena Ultra
Lost: POD
Value: 16 mill isk
Killmail: http://zkillboard.com/detail/31350239/

then BELINK loses this:

Criminal: Belink
Killright Cost: 1 mill isk
Lost: Navy Megathron
Value: 1 billion isk
Killmail: http://zkillboard.com/detail/31352271/

no more games... it's real this time!!!

Here's my kill right story, I generally don't get too many.

I spend a fair amount of time keeping Hek safe from criminals and suspects. And it was while doing this that someone decided to gank me.

I was sitting on boundless when all of a sudden the shield alarm goes off, I hear explosions, and I see the mail notification flashing. For a second, wasn't sure if I had just lost my Cynabal or what. But realizing I was still in my ship I hit dock, not knowing if there was more to come. So I looked at my combat log to see what had happened. There was an entry for a Tornado piloted by a Blue Sec pilot. So I repair my ship, and undock hoping maybe to loot, salvage, or just see what is going on.

So my ship enters space and look around for the wreck. I start to head for it, but then I get another shield alarm and email notification. I immediately hit dock, figuring there might be more ships ready to shoot me. I check the log and sure enough another tornado, but this time some other pilot.

Not really sure if this was spurred by animosity between our alliance and Blue Sec, or people not understanding the bounty system and trying to get the 1 billion bounty placed on me. If it was the bounty, they would have saddly been disappointed, as the payout wouldn't have come close to paying the 140mil per Tornado.

I was fortuante, though, a week early they might have actually been successful. I had my cynbal shield fitted, and recently switched to armor, but hadn't switched up the rigs yet.

So today I get a kill right notification for the Blue Sec pilot. And an email linking this kill http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=18328949 . I never really expected it to be used, had put it up for 50mil just figured someone might accidentally invoke it. I must say that was one nice surprise. So not only did this pilot lose his tornado due to the failed gank attempt, he lost his proteus as well.

This one time in high sec I was ganking miners when someone made killrights available to all when I have a -10 sec status.

Makes me lol.

My favorite killright stories usually begin with some good old fashioned intra-corporation violence.

Heroic newbro A joins B's mining corp. A starts shooting up a mining operation in highsec while CONCORD just laugh.

B shoots back, and a heroic person C outside the corporation sees B shoot A, and starts providing A neutral repairs.

B shoots C and gets CONCORDOOKENED. Then C finds B a week later when B is out in an Orca, and activates their killright and blows up the Orca.

Justice is served for illegal violence against our hero C.

I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com

Ally'mate of mine popped a newb barge in low sec without finishing the job. Being the good guy that I am I decided to clean the mess up for him random pod

Some time later I pop a newb in a merlin. He immediately returns for revenge to find me at a station. I assume that activating the kill rights from the random pod was an attempt to avoid sentry fire. Fair enough. But then he shoots me a duel request, saving me from sentry fire as well. Twisted

Awesome.

People need to learn the game mechanics and basic bounty hunter tactics.

There's nothing more frustrating than watching a killright Mach undock and somebody activates it on station.

OH YEAH?! WELL THEN, I WILL HAVE TO BLOW UP ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR CYNO REAPERS IN AMAMAKE! YEAH. I'LL SHOW YOU WHOSE BOSS!

In all seriousness, I remember when Jimmy 15's brother suicide ganked my alt in a probe ship, using his alt master chief ottig and his main account. I ended up activating kill rights on Ottig later on that night while he's in his boosting Loki. While killing it, he ejects, and I net myself a free Loki! \o/

Leadership is something you learn. Maybe one day, you'll learn that.

I use merlins typically, just because the locals in Amamake think killing it will somehow have an effect on my K:DR (because that's important) or will somehow sway my efficiency lower than 99% (because these metrics are important).

Watching them harp about killing it though, and the fact that I spent 4m on a cyno ship never gets old.

Back from the days where kill rights actually where a game mechanic for pvp pilots to get a seconds chance to visit low sec tourists in her home town, instead of a trivial sell out thing for people that can't manage to kill you on her own.

I sicked around a bit to long with the vaga and was to drunk to align away from the belt instead against a giant veldspare roid, what made warping out after I had the vaga down kind of problematic:

Then again, sometimes kill rights can be actually a useful thing instead a massive wast of time(what they are most of the time), if you have a close eye on people(meaning you are bored and got nothing else to do) and count 1+1 together when you see them coming back from a market hub:

I get friends to activate these free kill rights and then have them blow up my ibis + 600,000 isk pod.

I would like to point you to a story I once wrote in The Butterfly Effect topic, but I can't find it. Basicly it comes down to some ganker failing to take out my Industrial coming out of lowsec, and losing his Orca a few days later. Should you have the client running, check my bio. It basicly speaks for itself! Big smile

I was in an industrial corp and Casoff had issues with them. Pre-Odyssey Marmite and Whores in Space war decced the alliance (I assume Casoff payed them too since the bitterness is there) and of course we decided to fight the war targets. Even with the neutrall RR and Booster we were sort of winning. Casoff decided to involve themselves. They were all mostly -10 or so and decided to gank my Augorer during a pretty decent fight:
http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=17976498

Well post Odyssey they decided to Wardec the alliance themselves finally and fixed up their sec status so Faction navy won't chase them down. I activated all the killrights on all of them to everyone for free.

Few weeks pass and I received the Evemail stating it has been used and voila:

http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=18366944

So for a 30 mil isk gank it cost him 421 mil.... yes I chuckled.
