well my problem starts out like this i'll either be mining some blue ice in HI SEC or be out on missions and well when im out mining somehow i get randomly disconnected from the game server I know its not my internet conection having problems because i use teamspeak 3 and if i did lose my internet i would have disconnected from that as well so the game client will go about its happy way of rebooting and making me relog.

I can't find the bug but this will happen toatally out the blue for me sometimes when my ship comes out of warp or I can't jump through a stargate when i don't see gate fire i'll try to align to see if im still connected to the server most the time when ship does nothing i know the game client has just randomly crashed or as i should call it got disconnected from the server.

CCP or game staff if you guys are going to read please fix this issue its becoming very aggravating to me theres no way my internet connection is to slow because i've got really fast internet.

Have pretty much the same issue.
I get disconnected from the client - it happens a lot sooner when I am out of station, barely a few minutes into mining - however when I stay in station I do get disconnected, however it happens sooner or later.
The client was fine before I went on holiday, came back and got updated to 1.3 and now this is happening too often to be efficient at anything.

Haven't had a chance to check my laptop at home yet, however it was working fine with the updates on holiday.

Desktop:
i7 2600k,16Gb RAM, Ati 6870 1Gb. Win 7 64bit.

Laptop:
i7 840QM, 8Gb RAM, ATi Firepro 1Gb. Win 7 64 bit.

Drivers uptodate and have run repair tool.

Could you please file a petition regarding this under Technical / Connection Issues, and we will try and assist.

Before filing the petition, assuming you're running Windows operating system, please run a pingplotter test to test your connection to the server. Instructions on how to run the pingplotter test can be found below.

Here are the instructions on how to run the pingplotter test.

1) Download the program from Pingplotter website and run the installer once you've downloaded it.
2) Once the program has been installed, run the program
3) When the program has started, in the top left corner you can find a field called 'Address to trace', in this field type: 87.237.38.200
4) At the bottom left corner change the # of time to trace to Unlimited, and the Trace Interval to 2.5 seconds.
5) Click on the 'Trace' button at the bottom left corner.
6) Now run the EVE client and login. Play normally until you lose connection.
7) If you lose connection note down the time you lost connection (please note down both your local time and the EVE Time).
8) Now save the pingplotter files by going to the menu File -> Save sample set...
9) Once the file has been saved, file the petition via the website and attach the pingplotter file and include the times when you lost connection.

Happens to me as well.

Just out of random. I don`t drop out immediately, but it seems like I lag out. Everything stops responding, sometimes I get traffic control if it happens while I jump.

Eventually the client reboots, except when I`m docked. If I lose connection, everything just freezes in its current state (game itself does not freeze.)

Started happening yesterday.

Everything else that uses internet works fine.

I can`t use the program linked, though, as I`m on a Mac.

What version of OS X are you using please? Are you running on a Wireless connection by any chance? If you are please try and use wired connection to test if you experience the same issue. Also please try and disable EVE Voice from the EVE Client ESC menu under 'Audio & Chat' tab and see if that would make a difference.

I have had same issue 3-4 times in thge last week...

Win 7, cable connection to router (wireless is too unstable IMO) and I THINK the voice is disabled but I'll try to make sure.

With Windows 7 I suggest you try the pingplotter program mentioned in my previous post, and file a petition and attach the result, and we'll have a look to see if we can spot where the problem is.

I was having a really hard time maintaining a connection to TQ for a couple months. I monitored my connection and didn't see any problems, mumble etc would work OK, but it turned out I was getting a minor amount of intermittent packet loss most programs that use the internet could deal with gracefully. I called Comcast and they came out to take a look. Turns out I had a DOCSIS 2 modem (had it for at least 5 years I think), so they replaced it with a DOCSIS 3 modem and I've had a pretty rock solid connection since.

If the client experiences packet loss for more than a second or two it starts acting funny. At around 10 seconds or more of packet loss the client will disconnect for the most part, even if the connection isn't completely broken.

I've been having the same problems since the most recent patch. My husband who is sat next to me and running on the same connection has no issues at all, but I can't stay connected for more than a few minutes today. I will post a petition.

After getting my husband to have a rummage around on my computer, "Pango Media Booster" was found running. It looks like it was installed when a friend downloaded and installed League of Legends on my machine, and has been there for some time. The problem only started occurring when the recent patches to EVE came about, but removal of the Pango software seems to have fixed it (it was removed between the patches, and I ran the game for several days without issue)

I have league of legends also, with that media booster, however, my connection seems stable & without any drop out issues as mentioned in this thread.

GM Guard > I must ask you not to use the petition option like this again but i personally would finish the chicken sandwich first so it won´t go to waste. The spaghetti will keep and you can use it the next time you get hungry. Best regards.

I noticed i had this program installed as well, and deleted it yesterday. And i can confirm it does seem to have fixed the issue.

At least i didnt have any more ctd's for the remaning time i was online yesterday.

(will update this post if the problems come back the next time im online)

I got similiar crashes, it started out about 2 days ago. It happens about 10 mins into playing the game. I just ran the Logserver and played and it crashed again while fighting in an anomaly, tho i think it's unrelated to activity as it crashed last night while sitting at a POS. What i also noticed is that eve tries to restart the client again and at the login screen it is unable to get the server status for about 2 minutes. Going to file a petition and upload the logserver file.
