Did Sentry Guns get changed in Retribution?

It was proposed by CCP Greyscale that sentry guns would "Ramp up" their damage in order to allow the existence of frigate tackle in low-sec.

Did this change actually happen or did it get cut?

Planned lowsec sentry "fix" - you guys serious?

C&P, this pertains to YOU

Tl;dr... there was a decent uproar among the entire low-sec community (both from Faction Warfare pilots and pirates) and the idea was shot down. Basically, people pointed out that during most low-sec roams combat occurred on gates... and this would effectively put the aggressor at an extreme disadvantage and prevent escalation of conflicts.

Got cut. Sentries and gate mechanics are fine now. The new criminal timers and such make things much more enjoyable. It's an interesting dynamic being able to warp off a gate and come back to keep engagements going. It makes combat much more fluid imo.

Not sure when the change occured as I came back after retribution was released and been gone a few years however gate and station guns used to shoot you if you were flashy red (before suspect timers existed) and doing anything in a frigate was suicide. Now you can aggress and warp off then come back and finish the job. The guns won't shoot if you bounce.
