Yet another question about: perfect high sec refinery

Since i am in the market now i want to expend my business.

So i was thinking about getting high sec max refinery

The skills I thought of mysellf where

Standing 6.75+

Refinery V
Refinery Effeciency IV

Veldspar Processing III
Plagiocase Processing III
Scordite Processing III
Omber Processing III


Some questions left:

did i forget skills or ore skills?

Kernite, Pyroxeres. Maybe you're not in a region where they're in the belts now, but you may move to one or find people selling them decent volumes of them under mineral costs

You only need material specialization at level 1 with Refinery Efficiency 4 when using a station with 50% base facilities.

You only need 5.0 / 0.75 = 6.67 standing to not pay reprocessing tax.


Yield (before tax) = MIN(100% , Facilities Base + 0.375 * (1 + Refining * 0.02) * (1 + Refinery Efficiency * 0.04) * (1 + Material Specialization * 0.05))

Tax % = MAX(0, 5 - standing * 0.75)

On the other hand, if he wants to mine himself, he needs material specialization 4 in order to use T2 stripper crystals, so if he's a miner, or thinks he might want to mine in the future, then training each material specialization skill to 4 and training Refinery Efficiency to 1 is sufficient. Or any other combination that sums to 5. If he knows that he's never going to mine then Refinery Effiefiency 3 or 4 combined with ore skillz of 2 or 1 is the most time-efficient.

I think going the R5, RE4, and ore processing 1 is the way to go. Down the road there are other reasons for RE 4
