Eve's Next Expansion? Scamming?

I don't personally scam, but I know a few scammers.

What I'm hearing out there is a strong desire for an Eve expansion for scamming.

So far I have heard of these ideas for the expansion:

1. Allow drugs in courier contracts
2. Custom skins for items, such as pieces of carbon or gneiss
3. Bring back mines

The best suggestion I've heard for the name would be Eve Online: Blackport, which would get its name from a shadowy scamming group that has pulled off some massive scams.

I don't scam myself, so these ideas don't come naturally to me.

Does anyone else have any ideas to include in a scamming expansion?

Scamming is okay and fun to have in the game. I don't do it and I am aware it is encouraged. However, making a scam even harder to see is just ********. It should not be THAT easy to scam someone. This idea is just stupid.

The reason scamming should remain in the game as it currently is, is because it is based off of stupidity. They've done everything they can to prevent players from abusing game design. But they don't prevent players from abusing each other.

If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality. That "griefer/thief" is probably more sane than you are. How screwed up is that?

Have more scamming by all means...

...but CCP needs to then provide some sort of support group / workshop that maybe offers basic reading, basic arithmetic and maybe personal hygiene, oh and a pamphlet on why 'Greed is Good'. Big smile
