When selecting an object, the camera now centres on it and zooms in.

How do I switch this off, and revert back to a fixed camera position?

Help much appreciated.

Cheers,
Basileus.

That just turns it off until you undock again dosnt it? Isnt there a toggle somewhere to turn it off all the time?

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.

That's connected to the directional scanner.

It should be enabled when the scanning window is open. However there is a bug where it activates when the scanner window is open on any tab instead of doing so only when the dscan tab is open. I have filed a bug report for this already though :D

perhaps they can sticky this since it's asked 2 or 3 times a day

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

You can click the three horizontal bars next to 'selected item' to get access to it that way too.

You'd think after 10 years CCP would have trained Interface Design to level 4 or 5.

First they have to pass "Sharder Modelling level 2" and "Launcher coding" level 1.

*looks at drone UI*

I'm quite sure they still need to buy that skill.

I got lost in thought... it was unfamiliar territory.

well actually there is a pushbutton in the dscan window who let you enable the tracking camera or not. If this button is enabled every time you warp or undock your tracking camera will be on again
