I have had a funny idea rolling about my little brain for some time now. It won't make me any ISK & is likely to make a few enemies but I think it would provide some good lol-content for my corpies. Since, for some sick & twisted reason, I hold the opinions of the denizens of this fine forum subsection on such high regard I bring it you for scrutiny. Feel free to be unkind.

The idea: Low-Sec Crash Course for Newbs

I go to a starter system and gather a load of freshies who want to try out some pvp. I offer to guide them through the perils of low-sec, bestowing upon them the lessons that I have learned in the same manner that Iearned them. The hard way.

Lesson 1: don't jump blind
I let my mates set up an insta-death gate camp and tell the squad to jump through.

Reship

Lesson 2: don't warp to 0
I fleet warp the squad right on top of a corp mate in a disco-phoon

Reship

So on and so forth until they all either hate me and vow revenge or love low-sec and move in.
Please share any ideas you may have for "lessons" or just let me know that my idea is a big pile of dog ****

Edit: I want to make it perfectly clear that this is not just an inventive way to grief new players. I plan to provide pre-fit ships for all outings and warn rookies that all implants & plugs are in jeopardy of being lost.
I also plan to actually teach them. I'm just doing it in such a way that maximizes fun while reinforcing the cold fact that all ships will eventually explode.

I would have to employ my step-son, who is well versed in fraps, and certainly overlay it with the ts3 chatter from both sides

Lesson 3: how to properly honor 1v1's in low-sec (a win for the newbs)

I set up a corpy in an AF and tell him that I will feed him the newbs 1 at a time. I send in one in to grab point followed by the rest of the fleet & we smoke him...then sit there and laugh until the cavalry arrives in dessi's to smoke the newbs. (If my boys don't show up and smoke the newbs we will just have troll them in local)

I'm not suggesting any sort of griefing. This is the school of hard knox man. You have played this game right?

Edit: you do have a point in that rookies in starter systems aren't quite ready. They need to finish the tutorials. Perhaps I will snatch pupils out from under the good sister Alitura.

No he's right, it's just a bad idea. It doesn't matter even if your intentions were noble... it's going to create problems for you. Hey, don't I know you from somewhere?

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

Additionally, this sort of activity may be toeing the line with the EULA/ToS rules on griefing and abusing new players. I recommend double-checking with the GM team by filing a question petition (Rules & Policies, EULA & Terms of Service).
