never ending buzzing sound in client

Since the patch I have a never ending buzzing sound when I am zoomed into any ship. Zooming out alleviates the issue. Alt tabing out of the client also fixes it. The computer has no buzzing sounds when playing sounds elsewhere, music, etc so that leads to me to the client.

Any ideas on the cause?

Edit: Apparently corp mates have the same issue

Edit 2: My laptop and two desktops have the same issue.

Muting sounds in the client does nothing

Turns out the problem is from the

"AMD High Definition Audio" driver which is meant to transmit audio via HDMI/DisplayPort. EVE is currently incompatible with the driver. SIGH CCP

Is this true ? I am also having a sound problems since today and am using the same device.

Lost sound by changing to alt on the same account and now its like 10% of normal volume, EXCEPT WORLD SOUND BUZZ, which is kind of ten times as loud unless I zoom out max.

Yeah, I'm having this "buzz" sound as well.

I don't have AMD drivers, but some Realtek HD audio stuff.

The buzz occurs constantly and only when I play EVE and it sounds like static electrocity. It affects all other sounds in Windows as well (music, videos, movies), when I close EVE the buzz is gone.

We have a buzzer in our EVE, guys.

I'm Caroline Grace, and this is my favorite musical on the Citadel.
