Would the market ever punish a perfect refine on ore?

I am slowly but surely getting my corp status up through distribution missions for the corp i am aiming to use for refining. Once i finally get to 6.67 should i always be looking to refine the ore i mine before i move it to sell it?

It would be weird for the raw ore to sell for more than the combined refined materials from a perfect refine right?

Even paying full taxes you can still almost always do better refining than selling raw ore

There are a few places you should be able to sell some ores for more than the market price for the minerals. These are stations with storyline agents.

Few things are linear like that, in EvE.

1) You are meant to do your math and refine if it's convenient, not always.

2) If it's not convenient then you have to take into account of the logistic costs, as unrefined volume is larger than refined.

3) Some missions require unrefined minerals (i.e. Kernite), often missioning stations tend to get stocked with that mineral at a premium.

I'll be moving freighter full of minerals. I guess i could hop around and look for storyline stations. I will see if that outweighs taking it to my refine station and then off to amarr or jita.
