I am running the 670 - as soon as I upgraded my driver from 314.22 to 320.18 the whole screen turns reddish and it really isn't playable. I reverted back to the older 314.22 and the game again seems to be fine running multiple clients..

the screen discoloration issues are due to the newest grafics driver - until NVIDEA fixes the drivers for the 600 series I found that only the 314.22 works.

Ok I found out that the problems are gone while using WIN 7 Ultimate Instead of WIN 8 PRO .

I had to put Interfal Immediate on otherwise the screen would be flickering and i had to put shader quality on medium to prefent Green screen .

But any way the hickups ore stutering are for 95% gone with the use of WIN 7 Only jumping the gate animation has 1 stuter left ad the start of animation . Eve online is running smooth again :)

There is someting wrong with Windows 8 in combination with Eve online .

No it is just eve. I have a Windows Vista (yes I know, but it is a 5 year old machine). I get constant freezing problems. It actually went away during Retribution. Then along comes Odyssey. Some ******** code must have got resurrected. Now my computer is fubarred again. Have downloaded the latest NVidia drivers and everything else I can think of. Just hoping that whatever part of the eve code does this gets changed again in one of the followup patches. Straight

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

Keeping this thread alive now that CCP Vertex is checking this out.

I can confirm that the excessive blue color issue [vertically, right to left; right having the highest level of blue] is present in all resolutions [up to and including 2560x1600] in full screen and window modes [when all graphics settings are @ full] with an nVIDIA 600 series card and the latest nVIDIA driver release [320.18].

This issue is manifested in the Character Selection screen [right after you successfully log on], while docked and while is space. It is not manifested in the Captains Quarters.

I can also confirm that addelee solution [thank you] at the beginning of this thread resolves the issue for me too [all graphics settings @ HIGH excluding Shader Quality @ MEDIUM].

Also note that I did not have this issue with an older nVIDIA driver [I do not recall the version] and Odyssey. Issue appeared after new OS build, no HW change/same OS version/BIOS update/latest drivers all around.

FYI Setup:
• ASUS Rampage IV Extreme, Intel Core i7 3960X @ 3.30GHz, Sandy Bridge-E 32nm, 4102 BIOS
• Crucial Tech 16GB DDR3 @ 933MHz (9-9-9-27) [4 x BLT4G3D1869DT1TX0]
• 2 x GTX690, Quad SLI enabled, GeForce 320.18 Driver
• Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 fully patched

UPDATE [JULY 2nd]: The new NVidia driver [GeForce 320.49] released on 06/25/2013 has resolved my issue.

I FIXED IT ON MY END

Config:
Intel i7 980 Extreme 6 Cores
24GB RAM (Corsair)
1600W Power Supply
3x nVidia GeForce 680 GTX 4GB (Leadtek)
8x 1TB HDD 4 mirror raids (WD)

1x Samsung MD230x3 Screen (3x 23")
1x Samsung ME-B 65" Screen

Problem:
Seemingly random drops in FPS down to 3-7 FPS while running multiple accounts (4-6 in my case), sometimes recoverable, sometimes only force closing 1 or more clients and then re-opening helped.

It happened mostly during / after a session change. It very rarely also happened when a new graphical overlay was created, such as 3D preview windows of ships while being in station.
It didn't matter whether EvE was in Full-screen or windowed or borderless window mode.

Solution:
It so appears as if EvE in one of the recent patches (I assume it was EvE client, because amongst other multi-boxing friends I shared this with, after they checked, the same solution applied to them) or one of the recent "use the repair tool because we screwed up the launcher" incidents must have somehow made the client's graphic settings revert to default. and I am talking about a very specific setting:
In my case it was the graphic adapter. EvE had all clients set to the same adapter, even though I made the clients spawn on different screens, the adapters was still configured as a single one. that made (a) all the GPU load only be on one card, instead of spread, and (b) created the common FPS drop when card A has to move/display 3D content on a monitor controlled by card B.

Doublecheck that each client is configured to use the adapter that is physically controlling the screen you are running the client on.

Hope this helps someone else than me.
I am back to running 6 accounts @ 200+ FPS with EVERY Single detail to full, 6 accounts on 1920x1080.
