Hello,

Sorry if this has been answered before, I did search....

Does The electronic warfare skill and/or any of the other Jamming type electronic skill benefit ecm/jamming drones?

Thanks

Good Sirs;

I have the same question, and how do multiple drones work, the same as multiple jammers?

From my experience (don't take this as 100% gospel) skills do not effect ECM drones. ECM drone strength works the same as regular ECM. So with EC-300 you get 1 out of (sensor strength of target) chance. So with 5 EC-300 you would get 5 attempts with that formula.

Edit - to be more clear. One attempt per cycle time per drone

No. Jamming drones (and other ewar drones) do not have their stats affected by skills affecting their ship module equivalents.

Also, yes, 5 jamming drones will work as if they were 5 jammers. For example, 5 EC-300 drones (1 jam strength), trying to jam a 10-strength destroyer, will have...

1 - (1 - 1/10)^5 = 40.95% chance

... of jamming the destroyer every cycle.

A shame the bounty system didn't work out better. Murphy would never be able to undock again.
