Posting in the "I'm very stupid and gullible" thread.

Personally although no fan of GSF I find the GSF recruitment scheme to be a very valid way of weeding out the less intellectual of the EVE populous.

Although not a fan of Aryndel's work, I can not help but deny that it has been very effective. Goonswarm is now a nicer place to be, a warmer place to hang out and just a fantastic place to play internet spaceships and mine ore with friends.

I may have been derogatory at the beginning, Aryndel. I may have said some swears and laughed in your face, but you've done well. Congratulations.

So I am trying to figure out what the angle is here, and not having much luck.

I took a 2 year break from Eve and decided to join the Goons upon my return, I contacted the "Lead Recruitment Officer" for Sundering. Enroute to the appropraite system to "join up" and get escourted out to Null sec, I contracted over a number of ships.

Needles to say it was a hoax, a valuable reminder of what to expect in Eve.

I contacted them back, commended them for the scam and confirmed that I was serious in joining up, where they attempted to scam me out of a further 800mil... I was dumb for falling for the first one, so obviously decided to not lose any more money.

Goonswarm Federation are widely known for scamming, you even have a channel in-game to send the newly scammed.

So what's the angle here? Can't be to collect more tears and no one is going to send you more money to get back what they hav lost...?What?What?

I violated at MOST one of those rules and just barely by using a first name which can be found within half a second using a simple google search. It sounds more like you just don't like people who say that a person is dishonorable and dishonest in a game and out. You have to have that little sociopathic streak to play the game like the goons do. I couldn't care less whether or not you like me or view my perspective on goons as valid or not. That's entirely meaningless to me given my experience with goons.

Oh and this isn't an NPC alt. Sorry to burst your bubble. Feel free to pledge all bounties right onto this toon; I'm sure they'll be collected eventually.

Point is: The dude died. Had he not been a total douchebag to the general player base and shown signs of being entirely dishonest I'd probably care that he had passed more than I do. But he was in fact a very dishonest person in game, a very malicious person in game and was part of the goons which are very well known for being dishonorable inside and out of eve and among several other gaming communities. (not to mention reddit lol) - I'll give them sympathy when they stop being nothing but douchebags that live on the suffering of others.

Now feel free to go ahead and delete this too, ISD. I know you will just to try and hide an opinion that you don't like. It's pretty common of GMs and GM Aides that condone extremely bad behavior in games then ***** and moan when that behavior is pointed out. Cheers! :D

That is actually something CCP condones quite readily by promoting behavior like that shown by goonswarm. The ENTIRE concept of "tear collection" is literally making the gameplay of others as bad as possible for your own enjoyment and then pushing it, insulting their ability to play the game based on their losses for further "tear collection".

So actually CCP LOVES that kind of behavior and tells you to what... HTFU? Just saying. Hypocrites are pretty easy to spot, especially when they make the rules then break them quite often.

I'm pretty sure slagging off someone who's not around any more to defend themselves, who also happens to be someone you've never met and have absolutely no idea what kind of person he was, is a pretty bad idea all round.

Dude, open the curtains, go downstairs and open the door. You'll find there's no large screen displaying bounties there, and no monastic chanting either. I seriously think you're having an 'episode' and need to back away from the PC to reaffirm your commitment to reality, because right now you're just being a ****.

After further reflection, I think you would make a fine Goon. I know just the recruiter who can expediently process you app. Of course, it will have to be on an alt unrelated to your account here, and they will need a small deposit to ensure you don't cause trouble.
