What is the highest DPS non capital ship?

What ship can get the highest dps with some sort of tank.

No officer stuff no wormhole effects.

I presume shield vindi clocking in at around 2.2k dps with some implants and a ****** shield tank.

new CNR get close? new Hyper?

Vindicator probably.

But if you want something more affordable, the gank Myrmidon can pump out very very close to 2k DPS with max skills and implants.

How? Without implants, the most I can get is sth like 1254DPS hot with void/ogres

Vindicator: 2182dps without heat or implants
4x faction magstab
Burst aerator II
3x drone damage amp II

5x Ogre II
8x Neutron blaster II / void L


Typhoon fleet issue: 2002dps without heat or implants
4x Faction BCU
3x Drone damage amp II
Bay loading accelerator II

6x Torp launcher II / rage
2x 800mm autocannon / hail
5x Ogre II


SImiliarly maxed out Hyperion with a TS large EMP smartbomb: 1933dps without heat or implants
Similiarly maxed out Dominix navy issue: 1922dps without heat or implants
Similiarly maxed out Armageddon navy issue: 1877dps without heat or implants
Similiarly maxed out Machariel with a TS large EMP smartbomb: 1760dps without heat or implants


Edit: swapping to officer mods and implants further favors the split ships with drone / gun damage, but with a relative boost into drone damage because of stacking penalty change to Burst aerator II. Vindicator and TFI still come first.

Vindicator can out-dps a 15 fighter Thanatos with ease.

CNR got its damage nerfed this patch (something im not entirely happy about, RIP herocat raven)

How do you figure that? yes the CNR lost its 25% ROF Bonus, but it gained an 8th Launcher Hardpoint to compensate, also if you use Cruise Launchers which gained 25% more damage per Launcher.

So I'd call that a pretty good Buff to the CNR.

Tho its DPS still pales in comparison to the ships mentioned above.

The TE is asking for a ship/fitting with some sort of tank. Not just max. DPS numbers.

A Navy Domi in gank fitting is quite good - with hard tackle, armor buffer and single ASB for extra HP. Not as good as a Vindicator - but almost. For half the price.

Wait? carriers do damage? I though they where made to resist 7K dps by them selves

I got a vindi to do 3k dps using only 15 officer mods and 2 officer implants. Beat that, scrubs.
