It's really hard to post an opinion without knowing exactly what the cans text stated.

That said, I have not found a single chat, can message, etc from exceedingly profane to exulting religious positions that I didn't find amazingly simple to ignore and forget 1 second later.

I believe it's in CCP's best interest to keep the language enforcement as simple as possible. Adding complexity to their rules would result in an ever increasingly slippery slope, more petitions and more work for their staff for the benefit of the few with overly delicate sensibilities.

Oh wait, wrong game.

But on a general basis I can't say I like seeing messages like that floating around. It's the principle of it. They have nothing to do in the Eve universe and they break immersion.

I don't think they should be banned though (but wardecced - absolutely!), I just wish they would knock it the hell off and stop trying to push their real life beliefs on people trying to enjoy a virtual, imaginary world.

I find it extremely disrespectful towards others tbh.

+1 In the EULA it states that you are not allowed to intentionally disrespect other people's religious or political views. Trying to force your own religious views on someone else (whether they are atheist or of a different religion) is straight up insulting. If any of these people are in Amarr highsec, feel free to give me their corp names and locations and I will war dec them.

I can understand this point of view as well. But in the EULA it states that you are not allowed to intentionally disrespect other people's religious or political views.

That should end this forum thread to be honest.

The level of intolerance in this world is truly disturbing.

And at least in EVE you have options that don't exist in RL,
not limited to blasters and flying blindly. You can even place
your own propaganda cans (within the rules) if you like.
