PREHISTORICLAND - where everything prehistoric lives together in collective anachronology

Seems like, aside from nature documentaries, every movie or game about prehistoric stuff is laughably anachronistic. Anyone know of any that are even remotely chronologically correct?

Some examples of bad chronology - please don't post claiming these are good unless you have a specific example and you actually know something about it:
Ice Age
Jurassic Park
The Land Before Time
20,000 BC
Dr. Who
Journey to the Center of the Earth
Super Mario Bros. movie
several History Channel nature documentaries
and probably many, many more

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

Most of those play on the conceptions of what the writers experienced as kids.

In a few years time, the bulge of Archaeologists from Jurassic park will finish their PhD's trying to find work and end up doing consulting in media.

Most people are stupid and don't notice. The propaganda/history channel is probably the best case-study here.

I blame (public) education.

You really have no way of knowing if it was aliens or jesus. They seem to get equal time on history channel theorycraft.

Another peeve is when it's an age of muskets war movie, and all of the extras are wearing identical clean, brand new uniforms. No grunge from living in those uniforms for months at a time out in the field. Also if it's a Roman movie, and all of the grunts are in centurion helmets with a red scrub brush on top.

B-25 bomber that hit the Empire State Building didn't take it down. It wasn't full of kerosene though.

Anyone else laugh during Jurassic Park when the T-rex was chasing the Jeep and you realized a dinosaur was chasing something that runs on fossil fuel? Lol

It was full of AvGas. but a B-25 is tiny compared to a 737.

Oh, wait - I made a rational comment. Oops

Right. The Trilateral Commission didn't want the Empire State Building to go down. So it didn't. Twisted

What, about the Trilateral Commission? Shocked They'd shank me in the dark in the theater. Which is why I wear tin foil... they can't recognize me that way.
