Who the hell is responsible for this bugfest of excrement?

The best bug is the one where you type for 10 minutes, press the 'post' button and it all vanishes into thin air.

Or, you can use Lazarus and not have to worry about that stuff, because it happens on more than just the EVE Forums

Yes the forum is utter crap, but it's here to stay. It took years and won't get fixed any time soon, as the guys in charge can't even animate the smilies. Lol

The forums have done this to me many times. If I hit back on my browser the text is back.

I am using Chrome.

Most of the time now I just use ctrl + a , ctrl + c

You dont love the irony of writing up an elaborate post, using the buttons for bold, underline etc etc - hitting the post button then getting a big ERROR HTML IS NOT SUPPORTED IN THIS POST and getting a blank slate to start over with?

I honestly cant understand why /scarcasm

Try the Lazarus add on. Saves all of your forms as you type so you don't need to do that

This plainly isn't true. 1) I experienced such problems myself 2) Are rarely due to a specific solution but more likely due to the general state of the net/your Isp in that moment.
