PLEX Activation.

Is anyone else out there experiencing problems when activating a PLEX? I am getting a Service Disabled message, "This service is currently disabled. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later."

I don't know about plex but I couldn't log into account management to check my account expiry.

I didn't ask why doesn't work, nor did I ask for an apology, nor did I ask on how to proceed. I was merely if anyone else was experiencing it.


Anyway, I got an answer from GM Bjorn stating that the account management and the billing services are undergoing maintenance.

Thanks smartass, except some poeple have just a few hours of gametime active and "try again later" will not be an option.

So, you get a message telling you that it's not you, it's them...so you decided to come post on the forum to confirm it's not just you, even though they already told you it wasn't?

Yeah because no one heard of client-side issues ever before. Also, someone from CCP is probably pressing a button to raise this error every time.

Threads like this are meant to a) make CCP aware there is an issue and b) to check if it's isolated to one (or a few) players or a general issue and not something client-side.

Otherwise put, you're useless with your lame attempt at highschool-grade "psychology"

How does "The service is temporarily disabled" even come close to translating as "It might be your client, you should check?"

The error message is explaining the cause of the issue in literally the plainest possible terms. No reason all to read more into it than is actually there.

But hey, it's a computer problem, so it just can't be that simple, can it? Roll
