We are not a political movement, we represent no government, we do not allign ourselves to specific believes.

So we get to be non political, when you visit regardless of descent, status, race, gender, preference, and any other label you can think of.

Quite the contrary, Captain. For all its vagueness, your original post is clearly a political statement, albeit a very diffuse one. Any statement which identifies a "society of choice" is inherently political in nature. The same goes for any movement which lays claim to a goal of "shaking the foundations of society". A movement does not need to represent a government in order to be political in nature, and appealing to a wide and varied audience does not make it apolitical, only populist.

You seem to be under the impression that it is governments and politics that make up society. But in all honest it isn't so. We've been made to believe this, we've been fed this from the moment we were born and many continue to believe this till the moment we die.

Think for a moment, imagine if you will and I understand this is difficult to phantom because I myself am not even able to picture it clearly how it would work out.

But imagine a universe without borders, a world without governing body, a society of people based in the ideal that we all are people, and by that ideal we are all equal.

As I also stated

Our society of choice is utopian though we know it will never be

Why are you nit picking?

Because I happen to be of the opinion that when people make political statements, they should admit as much both to themselves and to others.

It reminds me of the kind of situation that seems to be all too common in elections within the Federation, where someone will run for a political office while trying to solicit votes with a claim of not being a politician. I always found that irritating.

Does his statement negatively effect you in any way beyond your control?

We're going around in circles, while that is how most discussions go let's not bore the IGS with this.

My suggestion: I send you an invite when the time comes, and I'll leave it up to you to come over when and where. And you can see how political we are?

Does it have to, in order to be a subject for debate on a forum designed for that purpose? The statement caught my interest, and I decided to challenge one piece of it that didn't make sense to me in the context of the rest of the statement. That's the whole of it.

Pilot Katla, While some of the terminology used may simulate that of a political movement, We believe that in this case it is merely a form of advertising often used to galvanise some form of group mentality.

It would appear that pilot Madullier is advertising a collective gathering, where participants will likely listen to repetetive and rhythmic sound-forms while potentially in some form of euphoric state.

A colloquial term used within Gallentean youth culture for such events is a 'rave'. Though those in positions of authority would more often refer to the event as an unauthorised social gathering.

Well said Anatole, beautifully composed honey. Although it took me a lil while to gather the gist of what you were on about! Seems I don't get out enough these days Oops

Whether that's a good thing or not I've never been able to decide.

Anyway, where's my personalized invite?! *flails around in her pod*

You can still score when there's a goalie~.

Dangerous for the ball though when the goalie has wormhole psychosis and loves nothing more than using HAMs to perform the spaceship equivalent of a double-mastectomy on random travelling salewomen who encroach on her holes.

There's a legal status for people in a long-term, committed relationship: marriage.

Perhaps you should pursue that instead of going on a murderous rampage when someone hits on your boyfriend.

Indeed. Perhaps I should! Perhaps I even am? Perhaps you could reserve your opinions for those who care to hear them?

Imagine ; a tribal village, half-naked people tilling maize, bringing home the day's hunt, a giant pot cooking, families laughing, loving, splashing in the water, grandma washes her grandson, chieftain passes down old myths

Imagine ; a dark club, silhouettes in cages, writhing, speakers drive bass, feels like blast-pressure, bits of neon, sweaty bodies, pressing close, pulsing throbbing, hot breath, whiff of musk, whiff of vanilla, 4am eternity

Put those two images together. That's my nation.

Kraid-haan;

There's some older, starry-eyed song I heard while on contract with Ishukone in Everyshore. Lyrics went something like, "She's soo heeaaaaavaaaaay!" and on and on.

Listen to that stuff. I guess that gets you half-way there.
