Clarification of Mac specs

So there's a vague post on the Dev Blogs about the new specs for Eve client. It's kind of hard to tell what they want though because there is very little mention of ATI cards and most of the mention is of NVIDIA cards.

The best spec sheet can be found here:

EVE Specs

The problem for most us Mac users is that our machines are running ATI cards not NVIDIA and the majority of Mac users are using laptops therefore there is no way to change the video cards.

So, given that currently the video card in my machine is an ATI Radeon HD 6490M will this card work on the new version of Eve?

I hope CCP doesn't return us to the world in the '90s and early 2000s where games would either run on ATI or NVIDIA but not both. I found out too late that MechWarrior even in BootCamp won't run on my Mac because it only supports NVIDIA. What a douche move that was.

Also, why does no one write games that support Intel cards? Some of those cards seem to have alright specs. Not great but alright.

Also when will we actually get a Mac client and not some dumb lazy Cider wrapped Windows game? I'd suspect that a proper Mac client wouldn't require such high specs and would run much better than it currently does.
