Black screen on undocking not resolved. Happens every time/every client.

Docking/undocking and being in station generally, is a lagfest nightmare, especially for multi-client use, unlike Retribution.

What amazes me is as buggy as Odyssey is, these bugs were obvious on SISI before the launch of Odyssey.

Can you please stop having the launcher forget all settings (username/auto play) every time you update? Or at least explain why you have to do it that way?

of course they were.

as always, bugs have been raised, design issues have been raised and CCP ignored them, rushed in production, then ignore the feedback, and jumped in the next patch, see: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=250079.

Once again, the patch installation fails because it can't update the launcher, the repair tool says all launcher files are missing and it can't install them afresh.

Yet I have a working launcher!!!

This is just too bizarre for words.

Still nothing from the Devs. I think this thread is dead and they forgot to lock it.

But, anyway, the issue with camera distance to ships undocking is NOT fixed.

For instance, when I dock a Bestower with the camera set to a usable range, then undock immediately, it comes out with the camera at extreme closeup range.

posting here as i cant seem to get the answers elsewhere


1 - Corp divisions - Cant seem to find the tab to allow editing of the corp hanger tabs, corp wallet tabs.
This used to be under the corporation, home tab, edit divisions button.
All i can currently find is a edit details button which only allows for corp logo to be changed, tax rate etc.
Nvm - now only appears for the CEO, am sure i used to have it visable for directors too. After looking on the CEO char, it is where is used to be.


2 - Sound on gate activation removed from grid ?
So in the past i could sit above a gate and have the sound to the client turned on, when the gate activated, i could hear it. It used to be as long as you were on the same grid, you could hear the gate activation on incoming jumps. Outgoing jumps were alot quieter.

Now, even sat 10km from a gate, there is no gate activation sound, i dont even see any gate activation animation.

If i myself go through the gate, i hear the old gate activation sound np, just not when other people use the gate.
Is this an intended part of the patching or is this a bug, i am unable to get a responce elsewhere about it.

You on the corp details tab or on the default (bulletins)? It's still there for me (details tab - Divisions)

OK, I have had enough now. I have tried everything, including sending CCP 2 tickets about this and they have not bothered to respond. I cannot install the new client "archive extraction failed: 3." I have re installed windows, updated all my drivers, I have enough space on my hard drive, I have even tried installing on my partitioned drive, OH, and if you think this is an issue with my hardware, I have also tried installing on my laptop and still the same issue. I have tried installing via the offline files, 'the exe and the 2 other files that go with it. still cannot play the game. I have a full year paid subscription, I have not been able to play for over 3 days now. Can someone please send me a solution to this issue. I have searched the forums and found others with the same issue, but all the fixes mentioned do not work. please help.

This happened again today. It's always a 6mb new build. Is this not supposed to be happening to me? Has to be the 6th or 7th time at least since the initial patch.

Support queue seems a bit backed up. I have a ticket in for like the last 8 days with no response. Give it time :)

From the solar system map mode, anomalies cannot be warped to. Previous to patch, you could warp to them. Anomalies are intended to be warped to, fix this.

For hunters like me, the solar system map mode is the best point to dscan from for a variety of reasons. This unintentional change impacts all hunters in a way that is not intended.

Please fix this.

I try to install new expansion and part (3/4): applying EVE_ONLINE_469969-558834_WIN.PATCH
has stopped at 13.2% and has not moved in over an hour.

I have no other programs running. Please advise.

Ok i have been trying to reinstall EVE and i can't get it to install at all

I haven't had any issues with Odyssey until today. Woke up this morning, turned on the computer, tried to log into Eve through the Launcher. The launcher immediately goes into "off-line mode," giving me the message "You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content." I am given the option to restart the launcher, but this does not fix the problem. I just get the same situation. The launcher also reports "Tranquility server: Status unknown."

Please advise

UPDATE: I just restarted my computer and everything is fine.

i think your problem is internet connection. Try to replace your modem/router.

I had same problem, any archive downloaded from net couldn't be extracted. At the end my modem/router was faulty, after i replaced modem, everything worked like a charm
