Drones in space whether they've aggressed or not will not return.

When I click on the "Return and Orbit" and/or the "Return to Drone Bay" buttons only one drone obeys at a time. I actually have to select each drone individually and give them the command to return or they will idle in space. They will attack as a group and change targets as a group without any problems. They just will not return unless commanded individually.

I have tried hi-lighting and selecting all of them, I've tried clicking the "Drones in Space" bar, nothing seems to work except individual selection.

Update:

I wrote this after downtime, but before experimenting with drones again. The above problem was occurring over the last couple of days, since the Odyssey patch.

Today, after the latest update (in addition to the above listed issue,) my drones will no longer attack as a group. They must be individually selected and sent to attack a target. It does not matter if set for passive or aggressive. Nor does it matter if they are selected for focus fire.

Very annoying when in PvP.

Hey, file a petition with CCP... I am having the very same issues: I can only manage my drones individually... not as a group. I have filed a ticket with them but have not yet heard back... so im hoping if more ppl file tickets, they will fix this very annoying problem. It has happened before and it took a few days for them to fix the problem, so idk

This is quite odd. My drones work as a group. All attack and return when I give one order.
I do use shortcuts for them. I redefined three of the shortcuts to use shift control (as those keys never result in chat characters)
E for engage
R for return
T for orbit

But Im sure a few times I used the menu, and Ive always had them all obey.

This implies its not the client, but your installation of the client. It must be damaged.

I'm having the same issue, its very annoying. I've tried clearing cache, but that hasn't worked. Any thoughts?
