I can't see how to start a constructive discussion without stating your opinion Big smile I started saying what I think but without any harassing, just to have a general discussion over the topic and to see what people think about it. I see, but it raised mine to 30 days instead than 1 hour or so =) However, what I was saying is that I don't get the point of having an agility bonus per level instead of having simply more agile ships,when you have to train all the levels to fly any ship you have access with the skill. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

That is exactly the point and no it's not too much, its a cap ship they are supposed to have LONG training times.


I understand this, I don't think it should be "easy" to earn access to capital ship hulls. However, I wonder if there could be a more... elegant solution, and more in line with the skill-growing pattern all other skills use.

Why not give it a bonus effect just for training the skill?

Maybe 2% agility, or 5% warp speed, or 5% structure HP per level on ships requiring the ASC skill?

But actually the bonuses will apply only at full rate since all ships that need ASC need it to lvl 5.

Well, I can see the OP's point and have to agree. It feels a bit silly to have a skill that doesn't do anything until you train it to level 5. And I don't think pre-Odyssey injected freighter skills should be considered in this discussion, they are basically freaks of nature now like grandfathered hisec capitals.

It's somewhat similar to all the per level bonuses for the T1 skill on T2 ship hulls. They could effectively all be replaced with a fixed role bonus since you are required to have the T1 ship skill at level 5 anyway.

No big deal though, there's stuff more in need of work.
