1) Create an absolutely horrid FPS that requires code X to run; attempt to integrate a universal launcher requiring X to launch all products; tie in previously incredibly high uptime MMO to require code X due to launcher integration
2) Code X resources fail routinely causing all services to tank

Hey, Dust isn't so bad. It may have been released 3 years to late, and is a poor halo clone. At least it's free.

What does the launcher has to do with a "server-side" problem?
Feels really annoying now after long time of new launcher and people still throwing every single problem they face on it...

People need to work their eyes on some reading these days

EVE and Dust operate on two clusters of equal power.
There are plenty of times when Dust extended downtimes don't effect EVE and EVE extended downtimes don't affect Dust.
Blaming Dust won't get you anywhere.

The problem was that the new EVE Universe CREST API, used by the DUST Client and the EVE Launcher and long-term replacement for the EVE API, was partly unable to connect to the TQ proxy servers.
